24-Feb-2010 Our Play-Cricket web site is now fully operational and may be viewed here. All club members are requested to register as members of the Play-Cricket network, then once accepted, apply to become members of the Cimla site.
The AGM elected the following captains. First XI - Chris Stephens, Second XI - Mike Price, Third XI - Adrian Beeforth and Midweek XI - Martin Rees. Martin was also elected as Child Welfare Officer.
31-Jan-2010 The Annual General meeting will be held at the Cambrian Arms, Neath on Monday 22nd February commencing at 7pm. All nominations must be in writing and sent to the Club Secretary.
11-Jan-2010 Indoor nets will commence at the Gnoll, Neath on Thursday 14th January. Would all players please note that the session time is 5:15pm to 6:30pm.
16-Oct-2009 The presentation evening will be held on Saturday 21st November at the Little Cam commencing at 7.30pm. A free buffet will be provided.
There will be a new touring venue this year and we'll see how we measure up to the cricketers of Doncaster!
02-Oct-2009 The averages for the First & Second XI's are now online. The teams collect their trophies this evening at the South Wales Cricket Association Annual Dinner
30-Aug-2009 CHAMPIONS! A successful end to the season with the First XI winning the title by the smallest of margins, having secured more bonus points than Bronwydd C.C. Cat must have used up all his nine lives. Congratulations also go to the Second XI. Having won the Third Division Championship in season 2008 they had to follow the First XI back to Division four and proved themselves to be Champions once again. Roll on 2010.

Saturday, August 15th, 2009.
A black day all round for the Cim with 1sts, 2nd and 3rds all washed out. Bronwydd not only played but crushed Llandarcy to take a 23-point lead at the top of the table and Baglan, victors over Felinfoel, are also in the mix. The 2nds still lead the table by 9 points owing to Pwll's also being rained off and the 3rds lost a little ground with rival sides playing.

06-Aug-2009 The end of season bash will be held at the Cambrian Arms on Saturday 29th August. There will be karaoke, a comedy act and a free buffet. A night not to be missed.
11-Jul-2009 A second successive Saturday has been washed out. Who said we're having a nice summer! The final match of the Guardian League Championship campaign will be at Neath next Thursday. The Editors Cup Competition starts on Thursday 23rd July.
05-Jul-2009 Cimla C.C. are saddened to hear of the tragic death of umpire Alcwyn Jenkins, a highly regarded and popular official who had controlled many Cimla games – the Club’s sincere condolences go to his family.
21-Jun-2009 The mid week XI are home to Briton Ferry Town on Thursday and the thirds are at home to Sketty Church on Sunday in the WWCA Plate competition. All support welcome.
07-Jun-2009 Players night out on Saturday 13th June. There will be a quick shower at Cefn before moving to the Cambrian Arms. Please make every effort to attend.
31-May-2009 Cimla C.C. extend deepest sympathy to the family of Phil Davies, secretary of Llandarcy C.C. Phil had been a greatly respected opponent over many seasons and all at Cimla C.C. are saddened to hear of his passing.
The Third XI are home to Ffynone C.C. on Sunday 7th June in the West Wales Cricket Association Cup and a big support from all members and supporters is required.

30-Mar-2009 Leading averages per decade since the 1970's have been added to the history section.
10-Mar-2009 Indoor nets will continue at Baglan C.C. from Wednesday 1st April for four weeks. Two lanes will be available between 8pm and 9pm. All members are encouraged to make use of this facility.
10-Feb-2009 Congratulations to Stuart Hornby who is representing West Glamorgan under 15's in Australia.
30-Dec-2008 Happy New Year everyone. The SWCA fixtures are now online and yes, we are away to Bronwydd two weeks running. It's a quirk of the division and all the more reason to seek a quick exit back to division three.
03-Dec-2008 Congratulations to Chris Stevens on being elected Club Captain at the recent Annual General Meeting. Graeme Hughes is the First Team player of the year. Mike Price & Stuart Jones are bestowed the honour of life membership. Indoor nets at the Gnoll commence on Thursday 8th January at 5:30pm. Old & new players are welcome.
The Players & Committee wish to thank the tea ladies for their hard work over the past season.
02-Nov-2008 There will be a club get together at the Cross Keys pub on Friday 14th November commencing at 7:15pm. The plan is to watch the Wales v Canada match then move on to a curry house later in the evening.
28-Oct-2008 The AGM will be held at the Cambrian Arms on Monday 1st December commencing at 7:15pm. Nominations for Captains should be sent in writing to the Secretary to arrive on or before the 17th November. Indoor nets will commence at the Gnoll on Thursday 8th January where we have our usual 5:30pm slot. Old and new players are welcome.

24-Aug-2008 The Mighty Cim are fallen. Relegated to division four of the South Wales Cricket Association. We shall return.
All is not doom & gloom however and Congratulations go to the Second XI on winning the Division Three Championship.

25-May-2008 There's nothing better than 26 points to lift the spirits after a disastrous start to the season. A great win away to Pontyberem still leaves us in languishing at the wrong end of the table though so let's hope the confidence is back for the tough task against Maesteg Celtic next Saturday.

07-Apr-2008 Outdoor practice will take place every Thursday at Cefn Saeson (weather permitting) at 6pm until the commencement of the new season.
Pre season friendlies take place on Saturday 26th April at Ynysygerwn and Sunday 27th April at Briton Ferry Town. Would all players please inform Jason Carpenter of their availability.

Neil Baggridge is going into hospital on 5th January to have pins removed from his leg. Neil is likely to miss the 2008 season and we wish him well for a swift return to fitness.
